The workshop will cover the initial warm up part, the technical part, fitness and stretching part and in the end, the most important part, the creative part of the training. This way the children will have the opportunity to take on many roles and playfully interpret them through dancing in their own peculiar manner, which will ultimately lead to a mosaic of individual dancers combined into a group. In addition, the children will learn about the rules of performing on stage in front of audience, the principles and ways of working in a group, they will acquire the discipline needed for successful work. Training will be accompanied with different styles of music and rhythms that will contribute to their creativity.

Dancers discover modern and jazz dance, where they meet somewhat more demanding elements, deriving from modern and jazz styles, along with techniques from other genres. Through different music rhythms, the dancer's own creativity, playfulness and dance expression that come from dancer's imagination and interpretation are included. Dancers gain control over their own body and knowledge that can be used in later dance education. Moreover, dancers learn how to behave on stage in front of an audience, improve their public performances, gain self-confidence and learn how to function in a group as well as gain important life experience.

Time: Wednesday, 18.20 - 19.50, and Friday, 15.15 - 16.45, Studio 4
This workshop is intended for dancers aged 15 or more, who have learned various dance techniques (ballet is desired) and have been dancing for some years. The workshop encourages dancers to explore their sentience, emotions, and perception by which they develop their moves and routines as well as their own dance style. At these workshops dancers no longer have to follow strict code of varied dancing techniques instead they connect codes and forms of different dancing techniques to an individual mosaic of varied styles.
Trainings begin with a warm up and stretching, followed by different exercises that strengthen the body and improve technique, followed by exercises through space where coordination is being tested, finished by creating sequences and choreographies that are presented at different performances.
Power Modern for Adults
(beginner / intermediate)
Time: Wednesday, 20.00 - 21.30, Studio 4
Power Modern for Adults workshop is appropriate for every age and is a combination of varied dance techniques (contemporary, modern, yoga, and Pilates), which are learned through different exercises and choreographies. The emphasis is on stretching, training physical fitness, and encouraging individual creativity.
